Fiery crash involving 18-wheelers shuts down I-35

WEST, Texas (KWTX) - A fiery crash between two 18-wheelers shut down a stretch of Interstate 35 Tuesday morning.

The two semis collided around 5 a.m. Tuesday at exit 353 near Slovacek's in West.

One of the trucks caught on fire.

The Department of Public Safety said no one was injured.

By 9:30 a.m. southbound traffic was backed up for about a mile, the Texas Department of Transportation said.

The accident scene was cleared by around 10:30 a.m.
