Wreck leaves passenger dead in Pasadena

A passenger was killed in a three-vehicle wreck Monday night in Pasadena.
The wreck happened around 8:40 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Texas Highway 225 just east of Beltway 8. Three cars were involved, according to Pasadena police officer Jessica Ramirez.
A passenger in one of the cars was pronounced dead on scene, Ramirez said. Two other people inside that same car were taken to nearby hospitals in unknown conditions.
The circumstances of the crash were not immediately available.
