A fatal accident involving two vehicles in southwest Houston will have Westpark Dr. closed in both directions for a couple of hours, according to police.

A fatal accident involving two vehicles in southwest Houston will have Westpark closed in both directions for a couple of hours, according to police.

The accident reportedly occurred around 1:40 p.m. at the intersection of  Westpark Drive at Hillcroft Ave., according to a tweet from HPD.

Vehicular crime investigators are on the scene. HPD tweeted that Westpark will be closed in both directions for the next couple of hours.

Police said a man was killed when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head-on on Westpark Drive near Hillcroft. Two other people were injured in the crash.
