Woman ejected in fatal wreck on I-37

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A woman is dead after being ejected from her vehicle on I-37.

A section of the road along I-37 and McKinzie Rd. is shutdown while investigations occur.

Police say two vehicles collided on the Southbound side. The driver of one of those cars, a 25-year-old female was ejected from her vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle is currently in the hospital. No word on his condition yet.

Police are still trying to figure out how the wreck happened.
