Police investigating fatal motorcycle wreck on the Far West Side

San Antonio police investigate a fatal motorcycle wreck on the far West Side Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019.

A 33-year-old man died Saturday morning after an apparent motorcycle wreck on the far West Side, according to San Antonio police.

Officers say three motorcyclists were traveling south along the 7900 block West Military Drive when one of the bikers noticed the victim was no longer traveling with the other two.

That driver then turned around to try to find the victim and a half-mile down the road he spotted a body and a downed motorcycle in the street. Emergency personnel responded but police say the unidentified victim had died at the scene.

Police are questioning the other two motorcyclists and report the victim was not wearing a helmet.
