Pedestrian killed by 18-wheeler in Channelview

A pedestrian was killed Thursday night after being hit by an 18-wheeler in Channelview, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The crash was reported in 17700 block of the East Freeway at Brookshire Street.

Drivers should expect delays in the area.
