One killed in wreck on Highway 69 in Smith County Tuesday afternoon

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - According to Texas DPS, one person was killed in a wreck at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Sgt. Jean Dark reported that the wreck happened on Hwy 69 at CR 1215 in Smith County. One person was killed as a result of injuries in the crash.

Our reporter at the scene said one of the vehicles was a commercial van, while the other was a private minivan.
