Head-on crash between pair of 18-wheelers kills one person, shuts down Highway 123

GUADALUPE COUNTY, Texas - One person is dead after a pair of 18-wheelers crashed into each other near Seguin on Thursday morning.

Guadalupe Sheriff's Office confirms that a fatal crash happened along Highway 123 North near Sandy Oaks Drive when two 18-wheelers were involved in a head-on crash.

No word on any other injuries at this time.

Highway 123 North will be closed for several hours during the investigation and clean-up from the accident. All North bound traffic is being diverted to FM 1681. Avoid the area if possible.
