2 teens injured after car, 18-wheeler collide on I-35 in North Austin

Two teenage boys were hospitalized Friday night after a car and an 18-wheeler collided in the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 in North Austin, Austin-Travis County EMS medics said.

The teens’ injuries in the crash, which happened just after 8 p.m. north of Parmer Lane, are not expected to be life-threatening, medics said.

The two teens were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center but another person involved in the crash refused treatment.
